How it works

The AhaSlides Canvas LMS integration lets instructors embed interactive presentations, polls, and quizzes directly inside Canvas courses. Students participate without needing a separate AhaSlides account.

1. Install the AhaSlides LTI tool in Canvas through your institution’s admin settings.

2. Add AhaSlides as an external tool inside any Canvas course module or assignment.

3. Select or create an AhaSlides presentation to embed.

4. Students click the link in Canvas and join the session directly from their course page.

How to install

1. As a Canvas admin, go to Admin → Settings → Apps and click View App Configurations.

2. Click + App and choose By Client ID. Enter the AhaSlides LTI Client ID.

3. Confirm the installation. AhaSlides will appear as an available external tool for all instructors in your institution.

4. Instructors can now add AhaSlides to any course module via Add Item → External Tool → AhaSlides.
